Greeneville too much for T.A. Dugger

GREENEVILLE — Despite a strong second half effort on both sides of the football, T.A. Dugger couldn’t overcome the big play first half of Garrin Shuffler and the Greeneville Greene Devils.

Shuffler rushed for 192 yards on 18 carries with a pair of touchdowns, while Cade Ballard passed for another to build an 18-point swing and key an 18-8 win over the visiting Jr. Cyclones Monday night.

Turnovers plagued the Jr. Cyclones twice in the first half and during a key third-quarter drive — after the squad cut into the Greeneville lead — which could have changed the outlook of the game.
