Elizabethton’s swim team wrapped up its season last weekend in spectacular fashion.
The Cyclones strutted their talent in the state meet at the Allen Jones Intercollegiate Aquatic Center on the Tennessee campus in Knoxville.
Participating in the competition were 113 schools and more than 1,000 swimmers.
Highlighting the weekend for Elizabethton was the boys’ relay team of seniors Anthony Huber, Chris Lanthorn, D.J. Arnett and Scout Walz. They broke the 400-yard freestyle school record which had stood for 31 years.
