Gray, in first bid for public office, challenges Williams for House seat
10:09 am | October 15, 2012Republican Thom Gray, who seeks to represent the Fourth District House seat in the Tennessee General Assembly, will square off against incumbent Kent Williams in the Nov. 6 General Election.
Gray, a newcomer to politics, is making his first bid for public office.
He is the son of Richard and JoAnn Gray of Elizabethton. He and his wife, Stacy, and 4-month-old daughter, Chloe, reside in the Valley Forge community.
Gray is an attorney, who owns and operates his own law practice in Bristol. He earned his law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law and is a member of both the Tennessee Bar Association and the Virginia State Bar.
