Ghost Riders provide gifts for EHDA Christmas party

By

Santa’s helpers rode motorcycles rather than sleighs recently when the Ghost Riders Motorcycle Club delivered its annual donation of Christmas presents destined for children at the Elizabethton Housing Development Agency’s Christmas party.

Club members delivered bags of toys and clothing and several bicycles Sunday, Dec. 16, for youngsters at Thursday’s EHDA party.

The Ghost Riders have been providing gifts for children in the EHDA community for several years, and EHDA Director Kelly Geagley estimates the club has donated more than $25,000 in toys, coats, bicycles and money to the EHDA in the past five years. The presents are distributed at the Christmas party and the money is used to buy additional presents, food and supplies for the party.

Dayjah Letner tells Santa about her Christmas wish list at the Elizabethton Housing and Development Agency Christmas party.
