First sweat broken on preseason preparations

For the past several weeks, county football teams have been flirting with the preliminaries in preparing for the 2013 football season. Monday, the dating ceased and the marriage began.
Players were ushered onto the practice field by their coaches for the first time in full pads. Some began in the early morning hours while others chose to go in late afternoon. As one player stated, this was no honeymoon today.
Cloudland arrived at 7 a.m. to begin practice at 7:30. Senior lineman Asley Haynes was all upbeat despite the early workouts.
