Family reunites during Happy Valley powderpuff game

Spc. Evan R. Myles surprised his family with a visit home from Afghanistan during the Happy Valley High School powderpuff football game last Thursday night.

During the National Anthem, Myles walked on to the field and surprised his family. Stationed at Fort Hood, Texas, Myles graduated from HVHS.

Happy Valley High School Principal Terry Hubbard said Evan R. Myles’ family had no idea he was going to be home from Afghanistan in time to attend his sister Jennifer’s powderpuff football game.
