East Tennessee Spay & Neuter has two fund-raising events planned during the upcoming holiday season.

“Pancakes for Pets,” a benefit breakfast, will be held at FATZ, 980 Over Mountain Drive, Elizabethton, from 8 to 10 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 7. Tickets are $7 for the general public. Veterans can eat for $5.

The menu will include pancakes, sausage, fruit cups and coffee or juice. Milk is $1 extra.

Proceeds will benefit ETSN’s local programs.

The annual “Santa Paws” event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 14, at Tractor Supply, 210 Cherokee Park Drive, Elizabethton.

This event is designed to help local pets have a good holiday. Bring your pet for a photo with Santa Claus. Photography will be by Charlene Palmer Morton. For only $5, you receive a great holiday memory with your pet.

Pets can also be furnished with a micro-chip for $20. A bake sale will also be part of the event. Proceeds help keep pets healthy and out of the animal shelter. For more information, call 289-5548 or visit www.etnspay-neuter.org.
