The name Donald Ensor is one that is well respected throughout the high school coaching ranks in the state of Tennessee.
That’s also the same case in the Stoney Creek community.
Ensor has always been one that stressed team goals, hard work and doing things for the right reason. Never was that more evident than when he led the Unaka Rangers to the 2004 Class A state title.
It’s been 10 years since that happened, yet it’s one of the most talked-about events each year. How could a bunch of old country boys off the Creek invade Murfreesboro and shoot the lights out for three days at the Murphy Center?
