Elizabethton swims past South

Behind two victories each from Scout Walz and D.J. Arnett, Elizabethton’s swim team recorded a home win over Sullivan South on Tuesday night.

Walz took the 200-yard individual medley, as well as the 100-yard backstroke. Arnett prevailed in the 200-yard freestyle and the 100-yard freestyle.

On the girls’ side, Cameron Colbaugh was the 500 freestyle winner. Kelsi McKamey finished first in the 100 backstroke.

While the boys came out on top 101-64, the Lady Cyclones came up short 88-69. Elizabethton was therefore the overall champion, 167-132.
