With a beaming smile, Jeremy Odom admits to being a little shy.
As he shares his special works of art, however, his shyness vanishes as he talks about his “mission” to use his talents for the good of a cause close to his heart.
Jeremy will celebrate his 27th birthday on Nov. 30 in the midst of his holiday work to raise funds that he will contribute toward the Christmas offering at his church for the Lottie Moon Ministry.
The son of Mike and Shirley Odom, Jeremy is a 2005 graduate of Unaka High School. He also attended Keenburg Elementary School, where he played on the basketball team. In ways big and small, Jeremy had been working hard to make a difference in everything he does.
Although he was born six weeks prematurely and was diagnosed with cerebral palsy at birth, he has never let those facts hold him back. His parents agree that he has never let his cerebral palsy — or anything else — stand in his way.
