EHS wrestling team gains split
4:48 am | December 12, 2012Elizabethton wrestling coach Jeff Nye is slowly but surely getting his team set for the stretch run of the regular season.
The Cyclones split a pair of matches on Tuesday night in Morristown. Elizabethton defeated the host Trojans 42-26, before losing to West Greene 46-24.
Against West, Tyler Livingston recorded a pin in the first period. Dalton Callahan lost by two points.
Logan Buck also nailed down a first-period pin. Jake Danuser was pinned, and the rest of the match featured forfeits.
“It was kind of an easy victory,” Nye said.
