Nothing was “Easy” about Loving in Mountain City on Thursday. And the pair of home runs she hit appeared to be carried away by “angel wings.”
Danielle Loving’s 4-for-4 performance, including a grand slam, helped propel the Lady Cyclones past Johnson County 12-2 at Kirksey Field in Mountain City.
But the rising junior third baseman had plenty of help on the day.
Lindsey Cunningham allowed only five hits and went the distance while picking up the win. She also went 4-for-5 at the plate from her leadoff spot and scored twice.
It was this and a whole lot more that caught the eye of head coach, Leanne Click.
