In what was probably the last junior tournament he will ever play in at Elizabethton Golf Course, Cameron Dugger went out the way he wanted.

Though he admitted he didn’t play his best, the former Happy Valley standout and Lincoln Memorial commit shot 71 en route to a five-stroke victory over Drake Crawford in the Boys 16-18 division of the Tri-Cities Junior TGA Series at EGC on Monday.

Dugger was in trouble early after carding a 37 on the front, but he rallied with a 34 on the back.

As the numbers came in, nobody even came close to matching Dugger’s round and he took home yet another title.

Dugger acknowledged it wasn’t his best performance, but it was good enough.
