Dr. William Evans to speak on prolonging vitality at ACS

According to Leroy “Satchel” Paige, “Age is a question of mind over matter.”

On May 23, Dr. William J. Evans, co-author of “Biomarkers: The 10 Keys to Prolonging Vitality” and professor of Medicine at Duke University Medical Center, will share his theory of overcoming the age barrier with the Tri-Cities area seniors and caregivers at Appalachian Christian Village, one of the first established Continuing Care Retirement Communities in East Tennessee.

Evans will share the latest findings that demonstrate how people can gain strength and improve their fitness at any age. Additionally, attendees will learn how to slow down the effects of aging as he outlines his 10 key factors associated to prolonging vitality and simply adding 50 minutes of exercise to your day.
