The Elizabethton girls basketball team is blessed to have a Reazyn for the season.
With senior forward Reazyn DeMoss accumulating 21 points, 12 rebounds and four steals, the Lady Cyclones swamped visiting Sullivan East 62-35 in a Three Rivers Conference affair Friday night.
“I didn’t really have a strong first half, but I just came out more determined in the second half,” DeMoss said. “It wasn’t that I was trying to score more. I was getting offensive rebounds, putbacks and steals — and my teammates were passing it to me more. The game came to me better in the second half.”
Pouring in all but four of her points after intermission, DeMoss became the driving force for Elizabethton (3-0, 12-3) turning a modest halftime lead (24-17) into a lopsided victory.
