Cyclones gain strength in the water. This year’s Elizabethon High School swim team is no different.

Despite losing nine seniors from last year’s team, the Cyclones finished in fourth place at the NETS Regional Championship Meet.

“It was so good to see them do so well on Saturday,” Elizabethon head coach Justin Conway said. “It didn’t look like something that we would be able to do this year, but to see them work so hard, especially as young as we are, it is really promising as a program.”

The event was held at the Kingsport Aquatic Center, despite the snow storm that hit, which caused the championship heats to be moved up to earlier in the day.
