ERWIN — The Cyclones learned that when there is a “Will,” there is a way.
Will Robinson dropped a game-high 23 points in a pivotal 59-45 conference win for ’Betsy on the road against Unicoi County High School Tuesday night.
“Will is a tough one,” Elizabethton head coach Lucas Honeycutt said. “He’s one of those kids you don’t notice. He gets his points and does the little things right.”
Elizabethton (15-5, 5-1), currently holding steady at second place in the conference, took control of the contest early by storming out to a 11-3 lead in the first five minutes of the contest. The Blue Devils (8-12, 2-4) would cut the lead to double digits going into the start of the second, working with a 18-10 deficit.
