Cloudland picks up pace in second half, tops Cosby

COSBY — A sluggish start eventually turned into a solid performance for the Cloudland Highlanders on Friday evening as they remained unbeaten following a 27-10 win over Cosby.

After leading just 6-3 at the half, the Highlanders (3-0, 1-0) got things rolling in the third quarter and finished with 320 offensive yards, 264 of which came on the ground.

Colby Birchfield led Cloudland with 162 yards rushing and a touchdown on 19 carries.
