First Christian
Grant Foster will be the guest speaker for services Sunday at First Christian Church of Elizabethton.
Foster currently serves as a minister with Campus Christian Fellowship at Appalachian State University. He is married to the former Meg Montgomery, a teacher at Elizabethton High School.
His message at the morning worship service will be based on Rev. 13.
Sunday at 6 p.m. he will do a Bible study in the sanctuary.
Sunday School classes will meet at 6 p.m.
From 2 to 4 p.m. there will be a 90th birthday celebration for Paul Manning in the fellowship hall.
The Ladies Bible Study group will meet at 10 a.m. Monday in the Fidelis Classroom.
Bible study will be held at 7 p.m., after which choir practice will be held.
The Men’s Monthly Breakfast will be held at 8 a.m. Saturday in the fellowship hall. A $4 donation is requested.
The first session of a Valentine Pre-Marital Counseling Seminar will be held Jan. 28 at the church.

Union Hill
Josh Wandell will be the guest speaker for the 11 a.m. service Sunday at Union Hill Free Will Baptist Church.

New Liberty
The Rev. Nick Colbaugh will preach Sunday at the 11 a.m. worship service at New Liberty Free Will Baptist Church.
Pastor Ray Colbaugh invites the public to attend.
New Liberty Free Will is located at 113 Peters Hollow Road near the Stoney Creek Volunteer Fire Department.

 
Bethlehem Lutheran
“The Power of God” will be the theme of the message for morning worship Sunday at Bethlehem Lutheran Church of Johnson City. The sermon text is I Cor. 1: 1-18.
Morning worship is held at 8 a.m. and 10:45 a.m.
Sunday School and Bible study are held at 9:15 a.m.
Interpreted services for the deaf are available the second and fourth Sundays at the 10:45 a.m. service.
Bethlehem Lutheran is located at 201 E. Watauga Ave., Johnson City.
