New Liberty Freewill Baptist Church will continue its month-long celebration of Christmas with featured Christmas music and activities this Sunday with the Nursery, Beginners, & Primary classes presenting a Christmas program during the 11 a.m. morning worship service.
During the 6 p.m. evening worship service, the Primary & Junior classes will present a play entitled “Is It Really Christmas” directed by Audra Monroe & Lynae Colbaugh.
Laura Shoun and Joy Markland will present special Christmas music selections during both of the morning and evening services.

Elk Park Christian will have its annual “Sounds and Tastes of Christmas” service Sunday, Dec. 15, at 6 p.m.

“Ethics of the Kingdom” will be the theme of the sermon for the Sunday morning worship service at First Presbyterian Church, when the Third Sunday of Advent is celebrated.

A “Tidings of Comfort Service” will be held Tuesday, Dec. 17, at 7 p.m.
In announcing the service Pastor John Shuck said Christmas is not always jolly and fun, especially for those who have lost a loved one, struggle with mental illness or just plain get the blues when the days get dark.
The service is designed to acknowledge those not-so-jolly feelings that sometimes are overwhelming. The service will include both sacred and secular texts and music, prayer, meditation, and candle lighting.
