Church Hill defeats T.A. Dugger

CHURCH HILL — T.A. Dugger’s boys basketball squad didn’t quite have the right formula Thursday, succumbing to conference foe Church Hill 37-32 on the Panthers’ floor.

“Church Hill had a good game strategy for us,” said Jr. Cyclones coach Marshall Hardy. “They sat back in a zone and forced us to shoot over the top. We had good shot opportunities — just could not get much to go down tonight. To Church Hill’s credit, they were strong, physical and tough on the offensive glass.”
