Upper Gap Creek FWB
The Ladies Aide of the Upper Gap Creek Free Will Baptist Church will have a fall festival Saturday, Nov. 10, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the church fellowship hall.
There will be games, snow cones, ice cream, cake walks, etc.
Wrist bands for unlimited games may be purchased at the door for $5 each or for 25 cents per game. Food items will be in addition to the game charge.
All proceeds will benefit the Ladies Aid projects for the sick, elderly, and shutins.
The church is located at 1380 Dry Creek Road, Hampton.

First Christian Church will honor its veterans at the Sunday morning worship service. Minister Brent Nidiffer will deliver the message.
Shoeboxes filled with gifts for Operation Christmas Children are due. A monetary gift to fill a box is also acceptable.
At noon Sunday, the Children’s Committee will meet in the fellowship hall for a luncheon planning meeting.
The choir will meet at 4:15 p.m. Sunday for cantata practice in the sanctuary.
The evening service will be held at 6 p.m. Children and youth classes will also meet.
Young adults are invited to a meal at 7 p.m. in the fellowship hall for a “brainstorming” session.
The church board will meet at 7 p.m. in the Men’s Classroom.
The church offices will be closed Monday, Nov. 12, for Veterans Day.
Tuesday morning at 10 a.m., a prayer service will be held in the sanctuary.
Wednesday at 7 p.m. Bible study classes ill be held for all ages.
New Liberty FWB
Veterans Day will be observed Sunday at New Liberty Free Will Baptist Church with special recognition of all military veterans.
Special patriotic music will be presented, and lunch will follow in the fellowship center.
There will be no evening worship service.

Jackson Park Church of the Brethren,100 Oak Grove Ave., Jonesborough, will have fall revival beginning Sunday, Nov. 11, and continuing through Wednesday, Nov. 14, at 7 p.m.
Pastor Mark Ray of Leake’s Chapel Church of the Brethren in Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley will be the guest speaker. He has served as a minister of the Gospel in Indiana and Florida, as well as a missionary in Ireland for eight years.
There will be special music each night.
East Side FWB
A bean supper will be held at East Side Free Will Baptist Church today from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and again from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Carryouts will be available.
The charge will be $5 with all proceeds goingto the church’s food pantry, which is open the second Tuesday of each month from 10 a.m. to noon.
Freedom Road Baptist
Revival will be held Nov. 9-11. with services beginning at 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 6 p.m. Sunday.
Evangelists will be Sarge Arnold, Ancel Presnell, and Edd June.
There will be special singing each service.

Interpreted services for the deaf are available on the second and fourth Sundays at the 10:45 a.m. service.

Hampton First Baptist Church will have its annual “Bulldog Bonfire” Saturday, Nov. 10, at 6 p.m. in the field directly behind the Hampton General Dollar Store.
The community as well as all Hampton High School students and athletes are invited. Athletes will be recognized.
Art Gibson from University Parkway Baptist Church will be playing and singing. Also, there will be free food and drinks.
This is a community event and all are welcome.

A Christmas craft bazaar will be held at Lynn Valley Baptist Church this evening and Saturday. The bazaar will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday,
Also, breakfast and lunch will be served on Saturday. Breakfast will consist of biscuits and gravy, country ham, eggs, bacon, apple jelly and pancakes. Lunch will consist of soup and grill cheese sandwiches and hotdogs.
Featured will be homemade items, including Christmas wreaths, gifts and decorations as well as baked items and canned goods.
Funds raised will benefit the church building fund.
Hunter U-M Youth
The Hunter United Methodist Youth will host inspirational speaker Justin Lookadoo Monday, Nov. 12, at 6 p.m. at T.A. Dugger Junior High Auditorium.
Admission is free. The program is for all ages.
