Hampton First Baptist
Hampton First Baptist will host a youth concert for area churches Saturday, July 27, at 7 p.m.
The event will take place in the field behind the Dollar General Store under a large tent on First Avenue.
The concert will open with the God Rod Team from Beck Mountain Baptist Church performing. They will be followed by the Oak Street Band from Oak Street Baptist Church.
John Colbaugh from Riverview Baptist Church will make a special guest appearance and sing a few songs with the Oak Street Band.
Colbaugh sings with the group, “Joyful Noise.”
Hampton First Baptist is located at 407 First Ave., Hampton.

Watauga Valley FWB
Vacation Bible School will be held at Watauga Valley Free Will Baptist Church, Highway 91, Stoney Creek, July 21-24.
Classes Sunday will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday through Wednesday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
The Rev. Bill Greer is pastor.
First Christian
Morning prayer will be held Tuesday, July 23, at 10 a.m. in the sanctuary at First Christian Church.
There will be no activities at the church Wednesday, July 24. The congregation will meet Thursday, July 25, at 7 p.m. for the Oak Hill Christian Service Camp’s presentation of “Surrounded By A Sea of Broken Hearts.” The music/drama was written by Meg Montgomery Foster of First Christian, who teaches at Elizabethton High School.

First United Methodist
The Abiding Love Bible Study group will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 23, in the fellowship classroom at First United Methodist.
The Wednesday evening service will be held at 7 p.m. in the sanctuary.
First United Methodist is located at 325 E. E St. The pastor is the Rev. Raymond Amos and Debbie Fields is minister to children and youth.
