Valley Forge
House of Prayer
The Sounds of Victory will sing at Valley Forge House of Prayer at 6 p.m., Sunday, March 3.
The Rev. Darryl Bailey invites everyone to attend. Refreshments will be served after the service.

Lynn Valley Baptist
Lynn Valley Baptist Church will have its monthly clothes closet Saturday, March 2, from 9 a.m. until noon.
The clothes closet is held in the church annex.

Mill Creek Baptist
Russell Bennett from Kingsport will provide gospel music for the Sunday morning service, March 3, at Mill Creek Baptist Church in Fall Branch.
The service will begin at 11 a.m., and all are welcome to attend.

Moore’s Chapel
Greater Glory will present special singing Sunday, March 3, at the 11 a.m. worship service at Moore’s Chapel Free Will Baptist Church.

Memorial Presbyterian
“The Amazing Jesus — The Small Picture” will be the theme of the message at the morning worship service Sunday at Memorial Presbyterian Church. The scripture text is Luke 4: 31-44.
A nursery and Children’s Small Talk will be provided for children during the service, which will begin at 10:45 a.m.
Sunday School will begin at 9:30 a.m. There are classes for all ages.

Church of God
The Rev. Charles Galliher will be the guest speaker Sunday, March, 3, at the 11 a.m. worship service at Roan Mountain Church of God, 106 Smith Road, Roan Mountain.
Special singing will be held at the 11 a.m. worship service, March 10. Featured will be “Called Out.”

Hunter First Baptist
A series of revival services will begin Sunday, March 3, at Hunter First Baptist Church.
Services will be held Sunday at 10:25 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. and at 7 p.m. Monday through Wednesday.
The evangelist will be the Rev. Sherrel Nave.
There will be special music each service. Monday, the Ferguson Family will sing, and Sacred Harmony will sing Wednesday night.
Hunter First Baptist is located three miles north of Elizabethton on Highway 91 in the Hunter community.

First Presbyterian
“God As Creativity and God As Human Creation” will be the theme of the Sunday morning worship service Sunday, March 3, at Elizabethton First Presbyterian Church as the third Sunday in Lent is celebrated.
The worship service will begin at 11 a.m.
Adult Forum and Sunday School will begin at 9:45 a.m.

First United Methodist
The sermon “Give Me A Little More Time And Our Love Will Grow” will be presented Sunday at the morning worship service Sunday at First United Methodist Church. The scripture text will be Luke 13: 1-9.
Morning worship will begin at 10 a.m., followed by Sunday School at 11:20 a.m.
The Men’s Prayer Group will meet Sunday at 9 a.m. in Room 108. The Sunday evening Bible study will meet at 6 p.m. in the church fellowship hall.
UMY will meet Sunday from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the youth house.
The Abiding Love Bible Study group will meet Tuesday at 10 a.m. The G2s will meet Tuesday from 3:15 to 4 p.m. in the youth house. The Coolagers will meet Wednesday from 3:15 to 4:45 p.m.
The Lent observance will continue Wednesday at the 7 p.m. service.

First Christian
Brent Nidiffer, minister of First Christian Church in Elizabethton, will continue his sermon series “Between Heaven and Earth” Sunday with the fourth saying from the cross, “My God, My God why has thou forsaken me?”
The morning worship service will begin at 9:45 a.m. with Sunday School immediately following.
The teachers and directors of the Sunday School children’s classes will meet at 5 p.m. Sunday in the conference room.
An Evening of Missions will be held at 6 p.m. in the sanctuary. Janie Broyles will share about her recent medical mission trip to Bethshean Mission in Mexico and Emilee Nidiffer will share about the Aquaponics Project in Kenya that the church helped sponsor.
The Ladies Bible Study will meet Monday at 10 a.m. in the Fidelis Classroom.
Tuesday morning at 10 a.m., morning prayer for everyone will be held in the sanctuary.
Wednesday evening at 7 p.m., Bible Study classes will be held. Also, the Grace Circle will meet in the Winsome Classroom.
The Sunrise Circle will meet at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the home of Alma Ruth Cox; the Volunteer Circle at 2 p.m. in the Winsome classroom at the church; the Ann Jett Circle at 7 p.m. at Shirley Curde’s home; and the Esther Circle at 7 p.m. with Virginia Laws.

Bethlehem Lutheran
“The Way of Escape” will be the theme of the sermon for morning worship Sunday, March 3, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 201 E. Watauga Ave., Johnson City. The sermon text is I Corinthians 10: 1-14. Morning worship will be held at 8 a.m. and 10:45 a.m.
Interpreted services for the deaf are available on the second and fourth Sundays at the 10:45 a.m. service.
Sunday School and Bible study begin at 9:15 a.m.
Lenten Vespers will be held Wednesday at 7 p.m. The sermon theme will be “The Journey Ahead” based on scripture from Luke 9: 18-24.
