9:39 am CHS thankful for donation from RM Citizens Club
To the editor:
On behalf of the students and faculty at Cloudland High School, we would like to thank the Roan Mountain Citizens Club and Mrs. Jo Buchanan, president, for its generous donation for the purchase of library books this year. It is especially appreciated and needed this year due to the drastic budget cuts in the Carter County School System.
Your generous donation will provide our students with new books to keep them curious and interested in reading. Thank you so much for your many acts of kindness and your generosity throughout our community.
A bookplat will be placed in each book purchased with your donation with a note that the book is a gift from the Roan Mountain Citizens Club.
Again, thank you for your support of the young people in Roan Mountain.
