CCA umpire Adams receives first Golden Mask award

Masks are sometimes worn to hide a face in the crowd, but that’s not the case with Larry Adams.
There is no hiding the fact that Adams has been an icon for the past eight seasons at the Carter County American Little League. He’s worn the mask as a volunteer umpire during that time, but according to Lee Woodby his value to the league can’t be measured. And for his efforts, he recently received Little League’s highest award for his services.
