Career Coach rolling into Elizabethton to offer job-seekers a lift

If you’re looking for a boost to your job search, you might need to get on the bus.Career Coach

Actually, the coach: the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development Career Coach will make a stop at the Elizabethton/Carter County Public Library this week.

The Career Coach will be at the ECCPL on Wednesday, Jan. 30 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Library technology coordinator Maryann Owen said the library had requested a Career Coach visit to Carter County because so many patrons who use the library’s services in their career searches.

“We have so many people who visit the library just to look for jobs online or to get information on employment,” Owen said.

The Career Coach will have information available to help job seekers be more prepared in their job search and will have staff on-hand to help with any questions people may have. The Career Coach serves as a mobile classroom with 10 computers with Internet and a Smartboard with other information important for job seekers to know.
