CAK final obstacle between Cyclones and state tournament

Elizabethton must find a way to come off “cloud nine” if it expects to defeat CAK after its remarkable “10” innings, which produced a come-from-behind victory over Greeneville on Wednesday.
The Cyclones enter tonight’s contest hotter than a two-dollar pistol, but will need to play their best baseball game of the season in order to advance to the state tournament.
The Warriors fell to Pigeon Forge 7-5 on Monday in a game that they led 5-1.
CAK’s big stick John Sharp blasted a three-run homer to lead the way.
’Betsy’s opponent is fundamentally sound and make few mistakes. Several of CAK’s games in recent weeks have been low-scoring affairs. The Warriors have been very aggressive on the basepaths during the playoffs and don’t care to swipe a base when necessary.
