Bulldogs invade Baileyton to take on Huskies

In a dog fight, the outcome is usually determined by the size of the fight in the dog.

That adage will be put to the test tonight in Baileyton on homecoming as Hampton invades North Greene for a Mountain East Conference clash with the Huskies.

The Bulldogs (2-3, 1-0 MEC) will try to show the Huskies that they are the dog with the most bite as both teams come off losses last week. North Greene (1-4, 1-1 MEC) fell to cross county rival South Greene 34-20 while Hampton fell to Johnson County 21-9.

“We have shifted a few guys around to strengthen two positions,” said Huskies head coach Scotty Verran. “We put Tyler Bailey in at quarterback because with Zane Britton there, we weren’t getting production from tailback — and he is our best tailback. I am hoping it can allow us to get some production from that spot.”
