A back-and-forth game for two halves, Milligan (11-6, 4-1) charged to the lead after a nine-point deficit early — then battled back from seven down twice in the second half of the nightcap.
Bryan (5-11, 1-3) responded in the closing minutes and it came down to the end where the Buffs stood tall.
“That was a game of runs,” said Milligan coach Bill Robinson. “It started that way and kind of continued throughout the game. Our energy wasn’t as good as it was on Saturday.
