Buccaneers lose traction in second half, bow to Morehead State4:43 am | November 13, 2013
JOHNSON CITY — The momentum turned with the flip of a switch — and East Tennessee State failed to respond.
Angelo Warner caught fire with 14 points in the final 10 minutes to help Morehead State fight from an early deficit and series of lead swaps to outlast ETSU 71-63 Tuesday at MSHA Athletic Center.
“It was a very disappointing second half,” said ETSU coach Murry Bartow. “The game was where we wanted it in the first half. They just pounded us in the second half. We just didn’t have the energy, didn’t have the spark or do anything very well defensively.”
