BLOUNTVILLE—Brooke Brown has been one frustrated basketball player lately on a Johnson County team that has lost a handful of games by single digits.
Thursday night, Brown and the Lady Longhorns took everything out on the Tri-Cities Christian Lady Eagles.
Brown tallied a career-high 35 points in a 73-34 triumph over the Lady Eagles at TCCS in what was simply a dominating performance by team’s floor leader.
Putting on a shooting display, especially in the second half, Brown was able for at least one night to forget about all the close losses and have a night she will never forget.

Just like the girls, the Longhorn boy squad has a strong junior class as well — and it led the way on Thursday.
With seniors Ryan Mahala and Chase Kleine and sophomore J.R. Speed resting up for tough conference battles ahead, Brian Dempsey and Dalton Timbs once again stepped to the fore.
