The Elizabethton Boys and Girls Club recognized Mosley Tuesday by renaming the club teen center in honor of the former member, who died after a battle with a rare muscle cancer.

Mosley, 21, died May 6. He had been diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma, a muscle cancer, when he was 14.

He was one of the first seven members of the club’s teen group, which was formed in 2004. Boys and Girls Club Director of Operations John Seehorn said Mosley was instrumental in starting the group.
