JOHNSON CITY — When Happy Valley’s girls looked down and out, Kalee Johnson refused to let her team lose.

After trailing the majority of the first half, Johnson sparked a dramatic second-half turnaround with 22 of her game-high 30 points in the final 16 minutes to guide the Lady Warriors to a 57-40 road win over Providence Academy.

“I’ve just been slacking lately and I figured I’d turn it on and show what I have,” said Johnson. “My teammates helped me out a lot and fed me the hall.”
