Arrest warrants served in meth lab explosion case

A man seriously injured in a suspected methamphetamine lab explosion earlier this year has been arrested on outstanding warrants.

Jeremiah Joe Hopson, 34, of 211 Sciota Road, Elizabethton, was taken into custody Tuesday by Carter County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Matt Ainsworth. Warrants had been filed charging him with initiation of a process to manufacture methamphetamine, felony drug paraphernalia, drug paraphernalia and felony reckless endangerment.
