As the new school year draws closer, some Carter County families will be able to focus more on their children making
friends and good grades and less on whether they can provide them with lunch.
Thanks to a crew of Bible school students.
Assistance & Resource Ministries received 23 boxes of food on Tuesday from children participating in Bunker Hill Christian Church’s week-long summer vacation Bible school.
During the June 9-14 Bible school, the children collected a daily offering, which was used to buy the food donation, said 7-year-old Shelby Perry, a member of Bunker Hill’s youth group.
