Mr. and Mrs. William Cole celebrate 60th anniversary

William H. and Joyce Cole will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on Monday, May 7, 2012.

They were married on May 7, 1952.

Mrs. Cole is the former Joyce Hyder.

They are the parents of five children, Vivian Cole of Roan Mountain, Gail Markland, Danny Cole, Bobbie Chambers and Jim Cole, all of Hampton.

They also have nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, one step-great-grandchild and one step-great-great-grandchild.

William and Joyce celebrated their special occasion on Saturday, May 5, with family and friends.
