Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Lovelace celebrating golden anniversary

Thomas and Faye Lovelace of Hampton are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.

 

Thomas Junior Lovelace and the former Lillian Faye Minton were united in marriage on Dec. 21, 1962, by pastor Warren Montgomery in Elizabethton.

Tom is retired from North American Rayon Corporation. Faye is retired from SupeRX drug stores.

The couple are the parents of three children, Jeff (Robin) Lovelace, Angie (Sammie) Halcomb and Greg (Ruth) Lovelace.

They have five grandchildren, Rustie, Andrea, Christopher, Whitney and Noah.

Family and friends are invited to an open house celebration Saturday, Dec. 1, from 2 until 4 p.m. at Southside Free Will Baptist Church fellowship hall. The church is located at 224 Jack Bradley Road, Elizabethton. Refreshments will be served. The couple requests no gifts, please.
