Mr. and Mrs. Howard Elliott celebrated 70th anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Howard Elliott celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary on Wednesday, April 4, 2012.

They were married in Greenville, S.C., April 4, 1942.

The couple are the parents of a daughter and son-in-law, Jean and Leonard Peters. They are the grandparents of Steve Peters and his wife Terri of Chicago, Ill.

They have three great-grandchildren, Trent, Tatum and Tanner, all of Chicago.
