Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Lewis celebrated 70th anniversary

Herbert and Leta Grindstaff Lewis of Mountain City celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary on Thursday, August 9, 2012, with family and friends.

They were married on August 9, 1942, in Butler by Rev. James M. Gregg.

The couple have one daughter, Evelyn Dugger of Kingsport.

They have one grandson, Layne Dugger of Windermere, Fla., and two great-granddaughters, Reagan and Delaney Dugger of Windermere, Fla.
