Mr. and Mrs. Billy E. Cole celebrated 50th anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Billy “Bill” E. Cole, Elizabethton, celebrated their 50th anniversary Friday, Oct. 12.

They were married Oct. 12, 1962, by the Rev. H.M. Slagle.

Linda Cole is a retired licensed practical nurse and a homemaker. Bill Cole is a retired construction manager for General Shale Brick and a farmer.

The Coles are the parents of three daughters: Shelby Cole, Elizabethton; Barbara Curtis, Jonesborough; and Christy Simerly, Johnson City.

They have one granddaughter, Hannah Simerly, Johnson City.
