Angel Tree, Kettle Kick Off planned Friday

The Salvation Army Angel Tree and Kettle Kick Off will be held Friday, Nov. 16, at noon at The Johnson City Mall, lower level outside Belks.

The Carter County Angel Tree and Kettle Kick Off will be held Friday, Nov. 16, at 2 p.m. at the Wal-Mart in Elizabethton.

This past Christmas, 22,791 items were distributed to Angel Tree, seniors, and shut-ins at a value of $364,656.

The number of Angels available for adoption this year and the kettle goal will be announced during both kick offs.
