After 7 years as director, Harvey to retire, return to volunteer role
By Ashley Rader
After serving as director of Assistance Resource Ministries for seven years, Libby Harvey has announced she is stepping down from the leadership role in the non-profit agency.
Harvey was named director of ARM in 2005, but volunteered with the agency for years before that. “When I retired from my first job, I came to work at ARM as a volunteer,” Harvey said. “Diana Hodge was director then, and I worked under her for about a year. Carol Williams became director, and I was still a volunteer. She was director for a few years and retired, and then I was the next director.”
While serving as director, Harvey has seen the agency go through a number of changes, including a new location and a large increase in the number of clients served by ARM.
