Cline-Holder clinches CCA season crown

Cline-Holder and Ramey Ford emerged victorious Tuesday night in Carter County American Little League play at Jim Ensor Field.
C-H rode the play of John “Boy” Ramsey to a 7-1 win over the young and talented Law Dogs 7-1. Ramey Ford scored five times in its last at bat to earn a 5-2 decision over Citizens Bank.

The Law Dogs showed fans that they’ll be the team to reckon with over the next couple of years, but for now the one known as “boy” proved to be the man.
John “Boy” Ramsey’s homered twice and tossed a four-hitter, leading the Lighting Bolts to their win.

Neither team could produce a run until the Bankers broke loose for two in the fifth.
Ramey Ford’s pitcher Cody Phillips and Citizens Bank’s Jeremiah Gillmore pitched lights out over the first four innings.
