Four people were arrested on drug charges Wednesday after an officer attempting to serve a warrant at a Watauga home reported discovering a suspected methamphetamine lab.
Carter County Sheriff’s Department Investigator Mike Little said the deputy began to suspect suspicious activity in the home at 211 Ninth St. Extension once he was invited in to search for the wanted occupant.
“Inside he discovered what appeared to be a shake-and-bake meth lab and other related components,” Little said. “It turned out to be quite substantial and it appears they may have been selling from the house.”
