Jr. Highlanders top Hunter

The Junior Highlanders were back on track on Thursday night.

Cloudland crushed Hunter 48-16 in middle school basketball action at Sonny Smith Gymnasium. The Highlanders (7-3) led 18-0 in the second quarter and the Tigers (3-7) never regrouped.

“We came to play tonight,” Cloudland coach Jordan Hughes said. “We’ve kind of been down in a little slump here the last week or so, but we had a couple of good practices and everybody played real well tonight. The guys coming off the bench stepped up, and everybody had a good game it seemed like.”
